With an annual production of 163 000 000 FBM (foot-board measure), construction lumber is CHALEUR SAWMILLS’ primary product. Our lumber meets market standards and is used in the construction of residential and commercial buildings and in the manufacturing of value-added products.

Conifex Timber is the manufacture of structural grade SPF dimension lumber and the production of clean, renewable energy. Our operations are conducted in a sustainable, safe and environmentally sound manner and they include all aspects of fibre management, from timber harvesting & reforestation, to sawmilling & lumber finishing and energy production using biomass residuals from both the forest and the mills.

Our facilities in Fort St. James and Mackenzie are capable of producing construction grade and select grade dimension lumber.

Dunkley Lumber manufactures SPF (Spruce-Pine-Fir) dimension lumber as well as SPF boards. Douglas Fir dimension is also produced 1-2 times per year. Precision End Trimming (PET) is available.

Matériaux Blanchet Inc. produces a full line of spruce-pine-fir (SPF) products in northeastern North America. These slow-growing species yield lumber with excellent dimensional stability and top-of-the-line structural strength. These characteristics make them a premium product for all construction-related applications.
